Cleaner water
in your village and aroundMidona Dapkiene is associated professor of Hydraulic Engineering Insitute of Aleksandras Stulginskis University. Her interests of the research fields are wasterwater technologies, assessment of impact of concentrated and diffused pollution on surface water bodies.
Midona is responsible for compiling technological, social and economic data of wastewater treatment solutions in Lithuania. She collaborates with the Leitgiriai pilot community. Midonas’ duties include preparation of information for the website of project as well as the English and Lithuanian Facebook pages, and disseminating of project results.
Midona believes that the project not only will help the households to improve wastewater management in environmental-friendly way at reasonable cost, but also will be an important contribution to our cleaner living environment and more transparent water in the Baltic Sea. | ||
VillageWaters Project
VillageWaters suggest most effective wastewater treatment solutions in scattered dwellings households, which use their own, independently operated water purification systems.
Helping Homeowners
Environmentally oriented families and homeowners, who live in scattered dwellings areas, where connecting to larger wastewater plants is not option because rural distances.
