Vesa Joutsjoki

Vesa Joutsjoki is a specialized research scientist at Natural Resources Institute Luke. His expertise is in microbiological processes and analysis and in the eco-efficient, water-wise bioconversion of organic materials.

Vesa is responsible for the work, which involves analyzing Finnish soil samples for an assessment of ecological impacts before and after implementation of the technological systems.

Vesa’s focus is on sustainable recycling and on developing upgraded technologies to utilize the biomass resources available in the agroforest industry. Through development of sustainable recycling and upgraded technologies, he hopes to contribute to achieving a cleaner environment and purer water systems.
